DEM XMAS COOKIES PRT 3 - RASCALcookies

FOR ME CHRISTMAS AND COOKIES BELOG TOGETHER LIKE TINA AND IKE

AND HONESTLY 

I MAKE THE BEST COOKIES

 THOSE ARE A RASCAL COOKIES MY GRANDMA USED TO DO THEM EVERY XAMS

AND THEYRE DEF MY FAVORITE

HERE WE GO:

DO THE DOUGH JUST LIKE NORMAL COOKIES AND BAKE IT

they should look like this

that are my bottoms the form can be different

do hearts or stars or whatever you like best but its most important

that the tops have a gap in the middle !

it is helpfull to count them to have the same number of bottoms and tops

you can use pretty much every jam you like 

but the original is red currant jelly

just because it is not as sweet as raspberry or strawberry

some people also use apricot but the yellow jelly looks not that good

put lots of powder sugar on the tops

 

now put the jelly on the bottoms

be careful that you put enough of it on the borders because thats where the bottom and the top will stick together

ready now, if you want to you can put some more jelly in the middle so it looks nicer!

PUT IT INTO THE FREEZER AND LEAVE IT FOR AT LEAST 1HR

THEN DO THE FILL IN WITH WHITE CHOCOLATE

OKAY COOKIES ARE BAKED AND CHILLED

NOW THE FUN PART IS COMIN:

BATTER SOME EGG WHITE UNTIL ITS VERY STIFF THEN ADD SOME POWDER SUGAR

DEPENDING ON HOW STICKY OR  RUNNY YOU WANT TO HAVE YOUR TOPPING.

I LIKE IT WHEN ITS VERY CREAMY AND NOT TOO RUNNY

 

SO TAKE THIS SUGAR&EGGWHITE STUFF AND PUT IT INTO 4 OR 5 DIFFERENT FREEZER BAGS

 IF YOU WANT TO YOU CAN ADD SOME FOOD COLORING

YOU CAN GET  IT IN EVERY SUPERMARKET

I MADE 4 COLOS: GREEN, PINKISH, BABYBLUE AND PASTELL YELLOW

TAKE A NEEDLE AND PUT A TINY (!!!) GAP IN ONE END OF THE FREEZER BAG

IF THE GAP IS TOO BIG THE SHIT WILL COME OUT TOO FAST AND YOU GONNA MESS UP THE COOKIES

IT IS ALSO IMPORTANT THAT YOU DONT PUT TWO GAPS INTO THE BAG!

COVER ALL OF THE COOKIE WITH THE TOPPING OR JUST A LITTLE BIT

HERES SOME INSPIRATION HOW I DECORATE MINE

 

 

 

TODAY WAS A GOOD DAY

 

Alright since xmas is coming closer and I didnt really had anything to do I decided to make some christmas cookies.

The recipie is pretty simple:

Take the same amount of sugar and butter,

mix it well

than add eggs ( it depends on how much you wanna make normally it should be enough when you take one or two eggs- you can add one later if you feel that the dough is not sticky enough)

mix it again

now take twice the amount of the sugar of flour and mix it with a little bit of baking powder (one table spoon for half a kg of flour) and some vanilla essence or vanilla sugar

put it together with the dough and put it into the fridge for at least one hour !!

DOUGH IS READY

i decorated my cookies but im too tired to write more about it now, ill post some pictures and info tomarrow...............

FOR ME IN SNATCH BRAD PLAYED HIS BEST ROLE EVER, THE WAY HE MOVES, THE WAY HE TALKS IS SOO EXXAGERATED BUT SO BELIVABLE AT THE SAME TIME.

THE FIRST FIGHT OF THE MOVIE WHEN TOMMY MESSED UP THE DEAL WITH THE GYPSYS AND WANTS GEORGEOUS GEORGE TO FIGHT AGAINST BRAD

AND YOU FIRST THINK OOOOH NOO POOR BRAD IS GOING DOWN CAUSE HES LIKE TWO HEADS SMALLER THAN GEORGE BRAD IS EXCELLENT !!!

I read it in elementary school

and even though I didnt really get it when I was seven

it left an huuuughe impression on me.

At that time I was more concerned about the panther

and that the might still treat animals like this in Paris

Maybe thats why I sucked in French.

Since this time I read it from time to time

and I still love it

it is one of the most heartbreaking,

saddest and hopeless
